Support & FAQ

How fresh are the fuel prices?

Prices come from the UK Government's Fuel Finder scheme, which requires large fuel retailers to report price changes within 30 minutes. Our servers sync throughout the day, and every results screen shows exactly when its prices were last updated.

A price was different when I got to the pump. Why?

Prices are reported by the retailers themselves, and a station can change its price at any moment. Treat prices as an accurate guide, not a guarantee — the pump is always the final word. If a station's price looks wildly wrong, it's usually a reporting error by the retailer that corrects on their next update.

Why is a petrol station missing?

The government scheme covers retailers with more than three sites, so some small independent forecourts aren't required to report and may not appear. Coverage is around 8,000 stations — the large majority of UK fuel sales.

Where does the EV charger information come from?

Charge point locations, connectors and power ratings come from Open Charge Map, a community-maintained database covering over 27,000 UK charge points across all major networks. Because it's community data, occasional details may be out of date — you can help by updating chargers on Open Charge Map directly.

Why doesn't every charger show a price?

Not all charging networks publish their pricing openly yet. Where a price is available we show it; where it isn't, check the network's app or the charger itself. We're working on richer EV pricing as networks open up their data.

Does the app track me?

No. There are no accounts, no ads, and no analytics. Your location is used only on your phone to sort results by distance — it is never sent to us. Details in our privacy policy.

How do I report a problem or suggest a feature?

Email us — we're a small team and we read everything.
